# Get a character

GET https://api.loreos.app/v1/characters/{slug}

Fetch one of the caller app's characters (404 if not owned — timing-safe).

## Authentication

- `Authorization` header (bearer token, required) — LoreOS runtime API key (`ck_...`), sent as `Authorization: Bearer <key>`.
