# Reset a session

POST https://api.loreos.app/v1/sessions/{session_id}/reset
Content-Type: application/json

Start this user-character pair over with a fresh session.

Reset mirrors managed Telegram ``/reset``: it creates a new app-owned session for
the same external user and character, optionally moves active delivery-channel
bindings to the new session, and leaves the previous session/memories intact for
audit/history. Use the memory delete APIs when the product intent is forgetting.

This endpoint expects a V1SessionResetRequest.

- `reason` (string, optional, nullable)
- `move_channel_bindings` (boolean, optional, default: true) — When true, active delivery-channel bindings for the previous session move to the freshly created session. This matches managed Telegram /reset semantics.
